Amy has been practising law since 2011.

Amy studied at the University of Cape Town and the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completing her BSoc Sci and LLB degrees in 2007 and 2010 respectively.

Amy started her legal career at Deneys Reitz Inc (Now, Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa, Inc) in January 2011 where she remained until December 2018, when she resigned to join Bidvest Insurance as their Legal Manager.  Thereafter, Amy resigned to take a sabbatical and later founded her Legal Consultancy in 2021. 

Amy specializes in drafting and vetting contractual agreements, including supply agreements and service contracts.  Amy has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of supply agreements in the manufacturing industry as well as litigating contractual disputes.  Amy is particularly passionate about finding legal solutions to complex contractual problems and has drafted a number of opinions for clients in this regard.
